The allies have been dominating the waters in Xenia, Ohio for the first two days of the battle this weekend.
We have not had a Battlestations battle so far, but we have a few Battlestations boats there, including two
    brand new ones.
    More up-dates to come.

The battling Sunday was great fun.
The teams were pretty evenly matched in Treaty.
Nikki was able to get her aircraft-carrier up and running as an un-armed convoy ship, and she entered it into
the Treaty battle. And although it did get somewhat shot up, she was able to complete her convoy mission,
and as nobody else sank in that battle, and there was no penalties on either team, her convoy points earned her
    team a victory.
So I think the allies pretty much swept the three day event.
We also had two new Battlestations boats on the water at this event. Phil's Potemkin, and Mark's British destroyer.
So when Phil got the Potemkin armed and shooting, Mark and Steve ran convoy ships, and Phil's tried to sink them.
Nobody was sunk. But both convoy ships got hit.
Turnout was light all three days for both formats. But we got in plenty of battling, and had a grunch of fun.
We had a few new boats on the water. One new captain participated in the combat. And we had one new interested guy
drop in to check us out.
    A great event.

Very busy for the next several days trying to get the USS United States, and the British G-3 on the water for the battle next weekend.
But after that, I should be able to take the time to post photos.

Midwest group is having a two-day local battle this Saturday and Sunday at the Versailles, Ohio battle site.
The temps are supposed to be in the mid-50s during both days. Low 30s both nights.
Turnouts look light for both Treaty and Battlestations. But we are hoping to have both formats battling on both days.

Vance and I are loading up the van and getting ready to go brave the cold up in Versailles, Ohio.
It looks like it will be the north Atlantic this weekend.
Luckily for me, my love of the hobby will keep me warm.
    Vance is not so sure.

Our next (and last for the season) battle on the schedule is on the weekend of Nov 7-8 in Versailles, Ohio.
So try to keep that weekend open for some boating fun. And we will keep an eye on the weather.

We are hosting a local event this weekend in Versailles, Ohio.
Looks like a light turnout again due to the cold temps in part.
There will be Treaty there for sure. And probably Battlestations as well.
Vance and I are hoping to get our two new pre-dreads on the water for some sea trials.
    Can you say shore party?

We will be scheduling our end of the year get-together at some point later this year. Or possibly very early next year. It will most likely be in the Dayton area.

    The Battle schedule for 2016.
May 20-22 in Xenia, Ohio. Denmark Straits event.
    June 11 in Versailles, Ohio.
July 2-4 in Versailles, Ohio. 4th of July event.
    August 13 in Versailles, Ohio.
September 3-5 in Xenia, Ohio. Task-Force event.
    October 1-2 in Versailles, Ohio.
    November 5 in Versailles, Ohio.

These are the dates and locations.
It is possible that one or more of the Versailles, Ohio battles will be moved to the Xenia, Ohio battle site.
It is also possible that Roland will host a battle or two up near Ravenna, Ohio.
We are not sure what the status is for the Indiana battle site at this time.
Both Treaty and Battlestations will be sharing the waters at our events.

We're going to have to do a little research on motels in the area. You would probably need to stay along 75 somewhere, like Troy or Piqua
