I’m starting this thread to post some of the cool stuff we do around here that doesn’t get shot up. This weekend, in addition to the Tirpitz we just sold, we are building a wind tunnel for the science fair. Orion’s project “How Birds Fly” is going be cool. We needed 10,000 straws to create the laminar flow section of the tunnel... more to come Also we just scored a deal to build some hulls as a platform for autonomous bird chasing boats for a fish farm in Israel. Looking forward to seeing these in action.
Wrapping up this 18 year project... our daughter was just named Valedictorian of her Graduating Class! ... and already secured a full ride scholarship to Emory University in Georgia. Mission Accomplished! Congratulations Anikka!
Congrats to Both you and Dori, as well as your daughter, Atlanta is a great place to be, we love it down there.
I bought the feathers on eBay. We have a pair of Rouen ducks as pets. Lucky and Reilly. The kids wouldn’t let me pluck them in the name of science. Lol.
In the future,If u need anything farm... Just dehorned some baby goats. Have some cats if you want to check their aerodynamics
Worked until 5am... then back up at it 10am catching up on orders pushed back by the science fair projects. Maybe I’m just really whipped mentally, but does anyone else see a really old scaredy-cat Batman face?
I got 4 Sailboat Molds in a trade deal from the estate of an old rc Sailboat racer. This one is a US1M. Not very nice finish but now I can see where it needs fixing.
Modelshipsahoy.com is helping fight world hunger... These two boats are heading to Israel. They are being equipped with sensors and computer controls as autonomous bird chasers for a fish farm. Apparently the Pelicans and Cormorants are eating a lot of this dudes fish.
