Started the o1 level. Port holes drilled out of the styrene bulkheads and started installing the portholes.

    Awesome stuff indeed.
Matt picked up another of these kits, and we have been discussing the new build.
I am not sure that I can even imagine a pair of these giants on the water at the same time.
You have certainly raised the bar again with your fantastic work.
    Well done.

Well 2 weeks back and have not been able to work on Montana. Between trying to get settled in back to work , snowstorms, my mother in hospital, inlaws sticking us with their dog to watch while they are away for a month, that's 2 dogs were looking after I frankly have had no spare time. I need a 2nd heater for the shed and it is still not dug out from the first snowstorm we had the other day. I haven't been able to look at the prize sent for the photo contest as the house is up to it's ceilings in Christmas deco and boxes and stuff. May be till Jan before I can resume work on Montana. The models are all doing fine though . The main deck hatch of Montana is warping so I need to reinforce the underside with bracking to prevent it from warping further. Other than that it's going to take me a while to orient my self to the build of Montana and figure out where to go from there. Will keep you updated.

Yes I was able to get a little more progress on it yesterday. The shed was very cold even with 2 block heaters. I worked on the large forward block of superstructure above the o1 level. Filled the seams with putty. I made bases for the secondary guns and attached them to the 5 inch turrets. I laid out all of the superstructure parts for my next time in the shed. Thought it would be today but we had wind chills of -15C and winds up to 110 kph today so it kept me away from the shed .
