NATS starts tomorrow with testing day. The Port Polar Bear crew spent today setting up tents, campaign ports, cutting grass and raking weeds out of the pond.
If you're in the area come check out the action. Battles start around 9am Monday-Friday we go until about 3pm. Friday is just a 1/2 day.

Godspeed to all the Axis guys :)

Best wishes to the Allies... I hope none of you sink any more than is necessary to ensure the inevitable Axis victory :)

It's almost essential for the Allies to have any self-esteem at all ;) We Axis tolerate it because if the Allies lost their mojo, there wouldn't be anyone to battle. hehehe

I just started a new job, so not this year. Next year, I will have plenty of leave and will have been saving for the trip, so more likely 2012 for me.

No, I'd need a week of leave for that one, even though it's in my freaking back yard! There is a lot of complexity at work and what I'm doing is not something I can take a couple of days off for at this point; The US Army is going to a new care model for Family Practice, and the clinic at Winn (where I work now) is the first clinic worldwide to go to the new model, which rocks and does great things for the patients. We are still standing up the new medical homes and there are a lot of people (outside of us) who like the old way (which sucked big for patients) and would like to see us fail. So nurses being present is mission-critical for a while, at least until we are running on all cylinders.

How did the Nats go this year?
And any word on where the Nats might be held next year?
    Thanks.

Allies lost, but ruled the night.

The sidemounts of the axis put alot more belows on the allies. That lead to more allies being sunk.

As for the night battle, Tim B, Peter E, and Kim M. fought with the spirt of Halsey and managed to squeak by to win. (unofficially)

Woo-hoo Axis victory! Banzai!! Banzai!! Banzai!!

Wish I could have been there to have fun battling our honorable opponents.

To those who went, I heard that the Allies won the night battle... but don't tell me that Axis won convoy?

The night battle was won by 150 points.. all unpatched damage from the previous battle.... not quite the blowout, but cold, wet, and fun.
