    THANKS MIKEY!!!!
The first pic is the outer and inner section of the mold.
The second pic shows the inner mold pulled out of the turret.
Pic three shows the turret being pulled from the outer mold.
Pic four is the turret pulled from the mold and ready for cutting.
Pic five is the top view of the raw turret.
Pic six is a view of the turret from the top. If you take a close look you can see the blue foam that is glued inside so that the turret will float.
The turrets will be sanded to give them the crisp lines where the armour is welded together.
Hope the pictures helped someone. I'll have some pictures to post whe the Bismarck is completed.
    Thanks,
And thanks again Mikey for posting. :)

    Crzyhawk,
Courageous should be sheeted in individual panels between pairs of ribs. The hull curves so much in 3 dimensions (almost everywhere) you can't sheet a larger area than that with one piece of balsa.

Furious will be even more difficult to sheet because the bulges are wider and more sharply curved. I'm not looking forward to it!

    Bad Bob

I've been looking hard at a Yammer. The 2 stringer rule should help with the contours that the hull has.

Yes, I found that out much to my chagrin. That boat was NOT FUN to sheet!
