Just picked up a pair of co2 tanks off eBay. Both are 7 oz pin valve. Cost shipped was $30.30 so not a bad deal at all. Best part is no recertification ever. Now I need a regulator. Suggestions?

Also where can I get a good on/off valve to go between the tank and regulator?

Already ordered the tanks, going to use them. Not interested in just spending money on more tanks, lol. If I have to I will just unscrew the tank every time.

Or if I can get the valves and put them on the tanks myself, that's an option.

I think strike models is/was one of the few people that sells an appropriate regulator with a pin depressor. You might want to check there. I know Palmers makes a few as well, but they cost more and aren't as forgiving if you don't take care if them.

Go with strike models, I have the Palmers and for my use the strike models is better. The Palmers I have has the depressor but I replace the pin tops with an on/off top from Palmers.

The lightweight regulators from BC are awesome. Even have 3 outlets!

Yes very well made and light as can be, black anodize just like my heart.
Only issue is the spring is ground too much and the result on mine was 120 psi, Charley you have to keep your eyes open when you grind the spring.

Batteries are procured, two of the 4 cannons are installed, going to try to get the radio in this weekend and see if I can do a short sea trial on some smaller batteries I have while I am waiting for the permanent ones to arrive. Also have to see if I can get some of the endplay out of the prop shaft and tighten up the gears on the rudders.
