That is a good option as well. Better to have at least both of your side quadrants protected and give you offensive and defensive capability up there for more broadside action. Least you will still have a good hitter with dual sterns at the stern.
I like the Scharnhorst, fast, maneuverable and large enough to take battle damage but can hit back well. Your gun arrangement really depends on your style of play but if your not sure 2 sidemounts and dual stern is a good balance. I might have to get one .
Curt, If I ever get her in setting her up with a triple sturn and a single gun off each side of the bow. Nikki
Chase. She's a good boat. But not a lot of people know how to run jer. That way I said triple sturn guns and a single gun of each side of the bow and a .5unit up on a speed controller. But on the other hand, me getting s bismarck is a sure fire way to get my ass thown in the pond. Nikki
Well, MINE, is set up with dual sterns, a bow side mount/chase gun, and a rotate with a 75 rd mag in turret Bruno. And a speed control on the pump.
About as good as things will get. Long as your treat it like a fat cruiser and not a slugger you'll find it to be not a bad ship. the hull volume offers some forgiveness to errors at least. Lets see some new pictures now that you've had some time to put work in.
Didn't get to take any pictures of the Scharnhorst as I was so excited to be at a battle with it and all systems functioning properly that I just plain forgot, lol. I know some others got some shots of it on the water though, hopefully one of them will be nice enough to post them. Until then here's Vance doing his clown car bit, lol.
Will be sure to get some updated pics next weekend of the Scharnhorst at the 4th of July battle. Until then here is a pic of my latest project. It too will be at the 4th of July battle.
