Name that ship

    Certainly a ship not on the approved list but interesting nonetheless! - it was one of a class of four developed back in the mid 1860's.

    Who can guess what it is?

    You have some skills sir!

    While the model is of the Spanish ship Pelayo - it was a carbon copy of the Marceau - only with a 3ft shallower draft

    Would that be the Chinese (later Japanese) citadel ironclad Chen Yuen? I do love the designs of the early predreadnought era, they really experimented a lot with some interesting ideas.

    That's correct, although there's some debate as to how to spell the name of the ship Chen Yuen / Zhenyuan/ Ting Yuan -
