I've always been a proponent of the captains self-balancing the fleets, the top dogs are usually self-aware of their status and can choose to balance things out, or not. I think everyone has more fun when things are closely matched, others clearly don't see things that way, or have other priorities/desires (which is fine) I'm thinking about an autonomous Yammer with 8 pumps and a small diesel to keep things powered, should help promote balance
If one would RENT a 6 unit Nagato for the 4.5 days of Nationals with a maintaince contract and recovery insurance. How much is it worth? This could be a very profitable venture for those bored with just battling. So how much is enough, or too much? The hobby wonders
Jeff's boat is not all wonderful n' stuff. In fact the guts look like a box of moldy pasta. But, he is a good captain and takes advantage of the building rules.

I'ts official... Texas is going Allied next year to counter the new influx of Axis captains. Bob you have your wish! Finally Texas is going Allied!! Now you can cherry pick the 'best' boats and paddler our little buns!!
I might need to bring the fleet, who knows how many plans will come to fruition. I like the move towards self-balancing, I think things will be better for both sides
One of you guys going to build a Texas? it'd be kinda weird if the only guy with one at NATS was the Alaskan, and all you jokers were allied.
28 sec.... not so much. I would consider it as a slow pond boat but I found 28 to be too slow in most situations. To each his own...
I heard a rumor that someone in South TX was looking for a french battleship hull... Not that there's anything wrong with that.
If Nats is in Texas I will HAVE no choice but to attend this year. Sooo..... DKM Scharnhorst will be making a return to Texas. And I will most likely have several Battlestations ships on hand for those interested in the format to see and get hands on with. At least the Prinze Eugen for sure.
