I have been able to get onto several different ships and boats (subs) in my time in the Navy, but the only one that made me say "I wouldn' t want to sail on this" was HMCS Sackville located in Halifax, NS. She is the last surviving Flower Class corvette and is something to see. At only 200ish feet long and 30ish feet wide, she was lika a cork on the ocean. Several of the gentlemen who maintain her and give tours have sailed on her both during and after the war. They tell some interresting tales. The tour that they give is pretty extensive and they don't mind talking a little longer to navy guys as well.
