Perhaps something along battle bots would be a more appropriate place for a heli-carrier with guns. Not Model warship combat.

Are guns allowed in the new battlebots? I haven't seen any of the new shows. I like the classics (Ziggo was my favorite)

As for the carrier, you wouldn't be able to battle it,. I'd suggest if you are going to arm it, have it drop ping pong balls or those nerfed footballs, like a bomber. Then just make a big dart board and try making bombing runs, and see what your score is. I've seen that done with old ww2 planes at the local rc plane club. One of the guys was even doing dive bombing with a Stuka.

Don't forget... you cannot arm drones for safety reasons, no insurance would cover you if someone gets hurt.

    UHHHHHHHH..........................................
thats why I make the props removable so it becomes an aircraft carrier with a suspicious number of guns on the bottom?
I think Ill make it able to fly, but won't fly it when armed

Even as just an aircraft carrier, who are you going to battle is against? I'm pretty sure a fictional aircraft carrier from comic books/movies isn't legal in any of the rules currently in use.
