New hull mold from Strikemodels

    The CWC-X format I developed would allow Montana to compete. Yamato and Montana were basically equals here but Montana has the greater broadside throw weight. Yamato and Montana in my format would be rated class 10 - 10 units. Tripple broadsides. Montana could use the 3rd turret as a dual stern haymaker. Either way seeing these 2 monsteres go head to head would be extremely cool.

    It is allowed in some (if not all) of the big-gun clubs, and also in Treaty.
    It would be a nice match-up for a Yamato.
    Strikemodels is also reportedly working on the Dreadnaught.

    12 1/4" guns would give a nasty broadside in biggun. She's be a pretty nice Bismarck killer in treaty as well.

    It actually doesn't look that big in the photo, any chance we could get a comparison with something like a USS Houston or other common ship?

    ABout 3 inches longer than a Iowa . Same widht as a Yamato.
