I'm pretty sure there is a group up in your area, they may be in Minnesota though...check out Port Polar Bear. Might be a bit of a haul, but with this hobby traveling is almost part of the experience.
5 hours from Minneapolis and 4.5 hours from us in Saranac ,Mi. We are planing on some two day battles this season. There will be a loaner boat waiting for you. Navy,sea,diving and general BS stories optional.
