Sorry, I missed you at Nats this year Beaver, wish you could have been there, we would have had a great time laughing it up. so at the moment, all my central powers friends have run to the dark side!!!!(cookies!, Cookies!, We done need no stinking cookies, Mang!!!) But I digress, VDT, Nagato has become Indiana, Derfinger has become So Dak.! if I were a French man I would be flying my white flag!!!!!(do Frenchies ever fly any other color, Well yellow when its their drawers.) Rubbing is racing!!!! VDT and Baden are looking for a few good Men to join them! Craig
Lol I am encouraged by the comradery here. I actually was introduced by Mark Roe a few years back and was involved in a near purchase of a Scharnhorst from Bob H as well. Things have settled down, house, job, kid, etc so now I have weekends and basement to dedicate to some warship games. Looking for a ship but fully intend on seeing everyone Saturday 9-30-17 in Saranac. Perhaps I can watch and get a first-hand look at how things work. If lucky, maybe even shoot a few bb's
Love to have you. You might take a few minutes to review the IRCWCC.org battle rules. They are under the HOME tab - look at the BUILD/BATTLE section The battle rules start on page 25 This is good advise for some veterans I think you will find it useful Kas
I'm new to this hobby too, I've already met Mark, Kas, and Craig. Great people, and super helpful in giving me the advice needed to start. The battle on 9/30 should be great
I'll bring along a Northampton I have and will sell it to you should you decide it fits what you're after. It's just a hull but all mounting locations are already built up. Would be a good starting point or backup ship.
Sounds like a plan. More then likely, I won't be purchasing a ship that weekend but am always fine to look. Thanks
I can bring some extra stuff with me for you to look at if you like, Brett. I might have a random hull or so lying around that I can throw in the back of the truck with my two boats and tools.
Unfortunate change in plans mates...Have to watch infant daughter while wife goes out with her aunt from Florida...Looks like I shall see you next season
We can still help you in choosing a boat you would like. You would not lose out on a building winter Unfortunately battling is what we do. Sorry you will miss it. With some work you can battle on the first battle next year. Is there a phone # so we can stay in touch?
