I also have a monster 5 blade tractor prop on it. Lots of low end grunt.

I do believe that Kas has video of it running away from a VDT during a battle.
If you can make the build session at Kas's on Sat, i bet he would happily show it to you AleMi. I get a great laugh when i watch it:laugh::laugh:':woot: remember it!

So I decided on a Lion class BC from BC.:) How does she handle, and how should I arrange the guns?

See previous threads about handling (Or go back to page 2 on this very thread). We already went over this several times. As for gun placement, you have some options.
    1) 1 stern gun, 1 sidemount in the midships turret, and 1 sidemount in either of the front turrets.
    2) 1 stern and both sidemounts on the front turrets.
    3) 2 stern guns and 1 sidemount in midship turret
    4) 2 stern guns and 1 sidemount in either of the front turrets.

    My opinion:
From my battle experience using a borrowed Scharnhorst (Lengthy BC with 2 rudders like the Lion, albeit with extra gun) I like having 2 sidemounts. Balanced, both sides of the ship have sidemounts for you to dish out below the waterline shots. Setup 1 is what I would go for with the Lion, since you have a midship turret.

I've battled using setup 4 as well (Triple sterns in a Scharnhorst). It's a decent setup; having dual stern guns on your Lion will definitely pack more heat versus a solo stern, but I hate having only 1 sidemount on one side of the ship. Some people choose to run BC's like this and do well in them, however. You would battle like an oversized cruiser, using sterns mostly and the 1 sidemount only when the opportunity arises.

I'm going to buy the hull once I finish a documentary I'm doing for National History Day, which will be in around mid March. Barry already told me about the hardware kits and deck kits. I'm going to buy them.:)
