We are having a battle on the 10th at 10:00 Rob's pond 10 Old Post Rd, Esopus, NY 12429 Strike Models will also be by to visit, Come sink Rob's Bismarck (new boat, probably fail)
Rob, probably not. Life has been so busy lately, with SATs, ACTs, college visits, college applications, nrotc application, so i wont be up and at 'em until next fall, if i stay with the hobby. Thats a maybe.
The date's closing in. I am pretty sure the Bis will be ready, I'm putting final touches on her. So far I have about 5 coming, any other takers??? Iceman
Bad news, turns out I wont be there afterall which has me rather bummed. Anyway I'll try and poke, prod, beg ,plead with you to have another one in early Nov if it doesnt get to cold to early, I aint afriad of a little ice. Sorry I really did want to shoot at err i mean with you Rob ;-)
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO That's not right, all the toys!!!!! My teammate.... Major bumming now.....
We'll be brining a few new goodies with us to the pond -- the new lightweight regulators, lithium iron phosphate batteries, small servos, cannons, and a new controller. There are two new regulators. One is a 140 psi fixed regulator, 3.3 ounces, and 2.5 inches long. The end of the regulator extends two inches past the end of the bottle top. It does need an on/off valve, as it doesn't have a pin depressor. The other is a variable regulator, and can go from 0 to just over 150 psi. It is 4.25 ounces, 3.25 inches long, and extends 2.6 inches past the end of the bottle. It does have a pin depressor, so it can be used by either type of CO2 bottle. The LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) batteries are great because they are much safer -- they can be crushed, punctured, shorted, and looked at funny without bursting into flame. They do have less energy density than lithium ion batteries. Ping us in email if you have any other questions, and we can send along pictures as well. I think it was Iceman's message above that was causing everything to scroll, but I forgive him]
I have much to do that day but I will try to stop by and see all the "new Stuff" When is this to start (early or late)?, Carlo
If it's easier for anyone, we'll be in NYC proper Sunday-Wednesday before the battle, at the Jarvis conference center, and can show off a couple of goodies.
