I hope you shot it with the go pro... That would be cool to watch. I changed half my batteries this year so guess what will probably happen to me.

Dang now you remind me. I completly forgot about that!!! Oh well I will take pics and post them. I'M' going to have to replace a panel or 2 on Yamato.
Currently repainting the upperworks and deck of the Bismarck. Nearly completed. It actually snowed today. Off next Tuesday and hopefully I can get my 2nd run and test the speed and cannons.

Going to order a couple of spare RX packs now.

More work done to Bis. I had the Turrets painted Nato Black thinking that when they dried they would have a more dull dark grey look to them but no it was too slick and sexy so I repainted the turrets and brought them back to Red. Glad I did that because now it looks better than ever. Just boo boos to correct and a few scribed planked lines to make and a couple of hose reels and lastly add the new crew. Oh yeah forgot paint the props. That's it. The model looks pretty sharp now and will get very ugly after NATS but I will have plenty of pics before it's blasted and enjoy it's appearance now. I wish I had time for new signal flags but the old worn faded ones will have to remain on the halyards till they get shot off which strangely they never have been shot off. Maybe one of them has a flag bearing SURRENDER on it. I took some pics but the on water pics will do it justice and bring out the colors better.

I finished my 40 foot dock this week and added side skegs to my Saratoga and my Arizona. I can't wait to get them out and see if they turn any better....

Here is the damage done to Yamato testing out the stern cannons. A single cannon from Dora and a single cannon from Caeser .

Sorry trying to get used to Photo bucket again. That was a repeat picture. Anyway you get the idea. The cannons fire hard and well. Imagine what the dual sidemounts can do.

Here is Bismarck about 98 percent complete. I actually finished it today by adding the deck hose winches, a AA gun, and some minor touchups. I did mix up the stripe on the port side midships not on the hull but the funnel itself which I forgot to correct. I corrected the aft stripe but forgot to correct the upper stripe on the aft superstructure. Oh well at least I will recognize this one since there's plenty of Bismarck's out there these days which is nice to see. I love seeing other people's version of their Bismarck. Youtube has many models RC too so it's a good place to see different scales of this ship in RC.
These are the table top pics. Hope to get on water this Saturday.. prayers on the weather this time...

Like I said the Superstructure is quite beat up on close up and I did what I could to clean it up in the little time I have to get ready for Nats. However from 20 ft out it looks good after all it's almost 18 years old and had seen quite a bit of action. Not bad for an old Swampwork' s kit. If it wasn't for the people who make the kits and after market parts and accessories to allow newbies to get into this hobby I probalby wouldn't have been involved. It's these kinds of platforms that will help the next generation of RC battler's come into the hobby. They will even have even less free time do to things than ever before so having Battler's and Strike and others who have the ability , resources and time to make things near readily available is always helpful. Thanks and Tip of the Hat for your efforts in making this Sport Hobby available.

Rats I just looked at them and realized the ends have been cut short. Sorry will correct that when the on water pics of the final test run are available. Still relearning this.
