I'm guessing about 10 people are coming, probably about 8 ships, maybe more. That will result in some awesome carnage but we get that anytime Snipe and I are on the same pond. Check out my website to see the "iceburg battle"

What can I say, we bring out the best in each other. I might be bringing a friend along and I'm trying to talk darticus into coming too.

Think you are going to slaughter snipe? You have never battled him. I think we will be picking teams. Nobody (well almost nobody) wants a slaughter. When people run out of targets, they turn like cannibals and eat each other, Not Pretty [:p]

In my Arizona, you are probably very safe unless you go looking for a sink. She is a deadly ship with no sides to shoot at. You would be in more danger on the shore. [:)]

HAHA! I'l be coming up late to work on my ship and maybe even get it in the water if I can install the fake props and skin the NC by then. Are you guys gonna be hanging out after the battle? The earliest I'd be able to get there is 3-3:30.

We can spend the afternoon/evening working on ships if you want. Skin the ship, fake props are extra details we can get to later [8D]

Sweet. So all I need to skin is silkspan, balsa, and rubber cement? No dope? I've heard it mentioned in skinning.

No dope, this is a drug free hobby [:D]

sorry, couldn't resist, dope makes the hull hard. People use it but I personally don't recommend it. I use lacquer to seal the silkspan to the balsa, inside and out. If you can't buy it there, let me know, I have to go shopping anyway. I also have one more new small can of scotchcote if you need that. Let me know. Then I dust the boat with cheap auto primer, grey and red

Any particular laquer? I have duplicolor grey auto primer lying around in a spray can. I'll lay claim to that small can of scothkote since I need to seal my boards and receiver anyway. Hmm. Where can I get silkspan?

    Silkspan-hobbystore (model airplaners use it)
lacquer I use deft semi gloss, have used gloss in the past (shiny)

Mom, no problem, maybe a little boring but the trees are turning and it is pretty
