Just got back in town and I can't wait!!!!!!!! Sounds like I really need to learn how to drive both my VDTs at the same time! [] Actually I can't wait till you go axis Rob, that 75 round haymaker can put a hurt on ze allies, and really there are to many allies around here too, guess they haven't learned that the axis has more fun!
HURAYYYYYYYY WHOOOOO finaly congrats Boomer see you this weekend should have waited your dad will be ordering his own Monday LOL
My balsa source has my balsa on back order. Do any of you guys have any lying around and could you bring it to the battle? I would need four. Thanks!
Thanks monk, thanks rob, believe me, im more excited then you are, but i dont want to make the writing too big. And yes, another day off of school would be nice. But really, this build will most likely be very slow.
I got the balsa I need and some silkspan from a different hobby shop near me. The silkspan is "medium." I'm gonna grab some matt laquer and rubber cement on the way up.
The battle and build was a great sucess!!! Thanks to all who came. Cruiser speeds being up helped. Donanton got motors and gears mounted, more to follow. Post pictures at will, mine will be up soon.
I have a ton too, which will be emailed to monk, then posted. It was great, although, inthe end, the extra speed didnt help the cruiser enough.
