    First battle of the Year!

Video snippet from Richelieu v Bismark DEATH MATCH!! Richelieu eventually sank after taking multiple below-waterline 1/4” bearings from Bismark!

Wow, that does look deep. Is that where you regularly battle at?

It is now! We lost our original pond, and they found this one right before COVID. Not sure how many battles we’ve had here, not many.

They aren’t even sure how deep it is yet. I’ve heard guesses of 16’. ;)

It's a very different experience from Fast Gun combat, isn't it?
Yeah, that lake looks deep. Might want to heave the lead a few times next time you're out recovering boats. It's very embarrassing to sink with a too-short float line.

I like that the ships are traveling in the direction they are supposed to, you know, FORWARD!!

    bahahaha... It just looks "right".

This shooting each other backwards, jockeying for position, doesn't look right when a battleship does it.

Hehe ... Big Gun vs Small bantering aside, maybe I should write up a rule proposal for next year's IRC ballot that a ship's max speed in reverse shall be 1/2 its forward speed - i.e. 24 seconds forward = 48 seconds reverse. I wonder how that would go over.

(Haha, I know that answer already!)
