All guns are permitted to have 75 round magazines. Reasoning: These are large boats, with large amounts of reserve buoyancy. With a max of 4 guns per BB (fewer for smaller ships), more firepower will be required to generate sinks (and ensure maximum mayhem). Increasing the number of guns would quickly increase both the cost and complexity of the boats - negating one of the primary objectives of this club. Raising the magazine capacity, OTOH, minimally increases cost and has no material effect on complexity.
How many steampunk folk do you have? I assume most folk wouldnt vote if theyre not involved or interested?
Woot! Currently have received 8 "Yes" votes to ZERO "No"s. Since I'm pretty confident that there's less than 16 people currently interested enough in 'punk to care, I'd call that one "Approved".
Speaking of Punk. Has anybody done any in-water testing yet of the AC yet????????? The designer would like to know. ST
I voted yes. I'm not directly involved in this format, but I like the premise of it and I definitely agree that they need to be able to dish more damage. For greater mayhem you could even consider allowing magazines of unlimited size, but restrict the amount of gas carried by class.
