Oil lite bushings

    Is anyone still using these in their shaft tubes? I wonder if they last longer than soldered up tubes

    I use them, I get them from McMaster in all sorts of shapes and sizes, I think they are pretty standard in the northeast at least

    Mc master has the best price/selection.

    10 pack for cheap. Pop them out when they get oval, slip in a new one and you are new again.

    If using the bearings do you still grease the shaft?

    Yes I will lube it generally .

    I use the green long life stuff in a big cartridge from Lucas. Tractor stuff.
