    Just wondering, what the Status is in the Ships, and what the likely hood is of the Battle happening in the Next few years??

    I was reading this thread and have been wondering 1/144 or 1/96 scale... One of my fav songs :)

    These ships are 96scale. So there going to be huge and heavy :)

    Roger that, bigger=more weight, when I was reading the rules for the scale I don't remember reading anything about how much detail for this size

    Hey Bill,
    I meant what i said, the 96-scale DS ships are going to be a little under 8-foot long. Bismarck is 102.50inch long and Weights in at 128.87lbs. Hood is 107.50 long and Weights in at 114.44lbs. POW is 93.33inches long and Weights in at 106.53lbs. Prinz Eugen is the smallest of the group at 84.88 long and Weights in at 50.13.

    Known fact when going up in scale so dose the weight, except for aircraft, it dosent work so well so engoneers work harder to keep weight down. My original queston was about amount of detail for this scale, i think i read that 1/144 had to look visually corect at 10 feet away level of detail. All i really saw about scale was that 3 inch wepons had to be mounted. Yes i do go by the name Bill :)
