Charley wasnt there and I dont know if Don got tested or not, Jeff Lide had the hardest guns that were up in the 270-280 range i think they were 275 or 277. but really even some of the other hard guns were in the 250-270 range as I remember. I dont know where the data is but Im pretty sure it was written down somewhere.
Big Gun cannons do not have an o-ring or anything similar, our cannons dump a large volume of gas (about 1.5 to 2 cubic inches of gas per barrel) to fire multiple barrels at one time, and the gas just carries the balls away. I adjust gun power by adjusting pressure, easily done with paintball regulators and Clippard MAR-1 regulators. Since regulators don't "lose their tweak" after a sortie or two, I only need to test ships once per day. Easy, fast, and effective.
I agree. If I can sail, and if I can shoot, I'm happy. If not, then I am very unhappy. I have been very happy for the last year and a half, since I completed Cadorna. Somewhere on this forum is an old thread where Carl began to describe the different cannon designs, including the big gun cannon. I think it is still here, if you want to look for it.
