I can get an allen key wrench in there if needed. Worst case all I would have to do is remove the sheeting in this spot or poke a hole for access. It sits right under the step-down deck so it would be quite the task to make that part removable.
What you have there is really totally overkill and more of a hassle than it's worth. Just a printed mount that the neck of the bottle snaps into would be plenty sufficient to hold it and makes filling the bottle much easier. Might be something to consider.
I just wanted to keep the tank from shifting making the boat list. With straps or a removable zip-tie, it'll only take a second to get the bottle free to unscrew it from the regulator. It is mounted a bit high in the boat so I'll likely lower it first chance I get. Would there be any performance increase in tilting the tank with the outlet on the high side?
There's no improved performance as far as I'm aware, you just want to make sure the bottle has enough angle that it won't feed liquid Co2.
I agree with using gravity as your holding force, zip ties will get old real fast, but at this point you probably shouldn't waste time on changing the mount. You want to have a slight up angle to prevent the regulator from freezing, but that shouldn't be an issue in the summer on a cruiser
Show me a manifold that goes from 1 to 3 and I'll order it up. Keep in mind, you're also seeing the bank of 3 check valves in there.
Hmmm might run out of space with that but it can at least handle higher pressure unlike most manifolds I found
f-ing autocorrect. I turned it off on my phone and now i just butcher everything, but at least it doesn't think it knows better than me anymore.
I guess eventually spell checkers will be condensing everything down to those three and four letter internet and text acronyms....
with fully functional autocorrect, autosuggestion and full key keyboards it should be the opposite really You should ditch the flip phone Steve
