Anyone interested in going home from Nats with a used Baden hull? Includes hull, older SS, newer 3D printed SS (both painted), brushless drive, reciever, 3D printed plastic chain drive dual rudders, 4 spartan solenoids, expansion tanks for dual stern setup, regulator, and a barely battled sheet/paint job. I have added bilge keels as well. All electrical infrastructure included. Gun board is a Team Delta custom build, older? yes, reliably works?, also yes. Wiring replaced with new silicone wire. Guns and pumps negotiable. Older pics here: https://rcwarshipcombat.com/media/albums/baden-to-wuerttemberg.240/ Newer pics here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/kFea3dVpmd7DDppR7 She needs a new deck seal. Swamping is to easy without some adjustments. If I was keeping her I'd separate the casemates (which are fast gun IRCWCC legal) from the deck and attach to the hull, therfore increasing the height of the seal. No bottle or radio. I also have some spares turrets, test buttons, working float, travel/work board with magnet bar & tie down bungies, Kagero Super Drawing book* and misc. that comes along. *The Battleship SMS Baden (Super Drawings in 3D) https://a.co/d/aKqXjly
Someone asked about casemates. This pic is of the ones under the SS but the rest are also balsa like the midships in the pic. It is IRCWCC legal. It was active at Nats 23.
This circled section is the float. The smokestack and empty spaces are packed with foam and has a spool of 60lb neon yellow fishing line. (Also the hole in the smokestack is designed to stick flags in for fleet battles)
Ty ty. After the first season with her and my absolute inability to properly captain a 28s slugger I knew it needed something that worked. I based it off Rob's Arizona float.
