Have we recovered from NATS yet?
For me, today was the first day back into the shop........ just looking at a ship made me groan! I think a new VDT Kit may just be what the doctor ordered! :woot:
I will be building four ships this fall.
A new Von Der Tann for myself (Replacing the heavy Nagato, my back cant take her anymore)
The Boys and I will be rebuilding an old Don Fisher QE Hull. Planning on using it for rookies. I think it would give Don a smile knowing he was still contributing to the hobby.
I will be helping Noah build his NC (ugh, another heavy boat)
and still looking at a new boat for Joshua to build. Maybe another VDT.. not sure.

Whats your Post NATS projects for the fall?

Hmmm.... continuing my refit of HMS Invincible, and working on Steampunk. Maybe the odd extra project or 3.

Going to work on getting my cruiser battle ready. Plus I'm working on getting my torpedo boat destroyer for Battlestatons at least driving.

Sounds like a bunch of VDTs for next year. Mine certainly did well at Nats. I want to work on the guns for that and hopefully make them a bit more effective. Also I've laid down the keel for the USS Texas BB35, so I can have an Allied option. That one will take a while.

I'm working on finishing the superstructure on my armoured cruiser atm, since the local guys were starting to complain about it looking like an aircraft carrier still. Once that is done, I have a few options I might pursue. Probably one of the larger hulls in my collection will get finished (I like big boats, and I cannot lie). Hopefull I can make it out next year to help even the odds.

Oakboro, NC is on the ballot so that is my pick and many other battlers also.

Heck, yeah. Not that I am swayed by the prospect of hot but cranky German girls on the walking path :)
