I wanted to express how much I love this compilation of items. Though I don't have a Potemkin I realized that "Details are Details" and that for things like bollards these will work fantastic for most any capital ship. And so I'm printing them out 15 at a time. I'll be printing out other items such as the hatches and intakes as well. The two prints here are test prints in el cheapo nylon with .12mm layers. The first pic has 0.5mm walls with 0 infill, as you can see there is some void space issues. The 2nd picture is with 1mm walls

What size of dowel is the lower section of the masts supposed to be?

Still need some cleanup, but printed really well. No support, 0.2mm layers

Printed the 36ft and 24ft boats upside down, so they need some cleanup still on the topsides.

For the 36ft yes. For the 24ft I just sunk them into the bed by 1mm to basically flatten them out and ran with no support.

Much of the mess on the 24ft boats is from brim + residual ABS slurry on the bed from tacking down a few parts that had started to lift on previous prints.

Really want another one of these. Had one in 1/96th scale and never got to battle it. Does anyone have a decent set of prints for one? Hint hint.

Here's some of the resources I used. Or if you can wait until some restrictions are lifted and I can buy materials, I could cut you an actual kit.

No hurry. Just let me know and we can discuss the details. Or I don't mind cutting it if I need to. Time will tell if we even get to do boats anymore. Lol.
