People coming in from far afield for the Labor Day Leadfest, the shop will be open for boat work on Friday 29AUG2014 starting at 1400 (2PM) local time. You can contact me prior to that, but I'm going to lunch with the wife before that.
Anyone coming into town on Friday, contact me so we can plan dinner someplace!

I'm excited for it, but will probably miss out: the call of duty is sooner than I would like. On the plus side, I think Kotori will be back soon to continue work on the steampunk cruisers.

Haven't thought about specifics yet. The battle weekend plans include Chow Time buffet on Saturday night, and RJ's on Sunday night, we got a room for the awards ceremony.

For those who haven't been to either of those places: Chow Time is a typical all-u-can-eat Chinese buffet with some other foods thrown in, and RJ's is our town's iconic American food place. Both have been very well received by battlers in the past.

Other possibilities for Friday are El Sombrero (my favorite Mexican food place), McAllister's (Deli sandwiches, big spuds, sweet tea), Cracker Barrel, or a few other local oddities.

Fun, and the dining options were quite good.

There was a terrible moss monster that claimed many ships as its own.

I don't believe anybody went swimming. A few people willingly walked in to escape the oppressive Georgia heat though.
