If I prepare my torpedo-boat Z-25, would you guys let me run it?

About 30sec/ 100ft and fires 1/4" ball bearings. I dont know how many at a time though. It is in my garage:) It's a spiffy little ship!

Bring it and we'll ask the captains present how they feel. I'm okay with it, and I think everyone probably will be okay with it, but I don't want to vote for the other captains.

    I think it'd be fun.

Be warned Clark, your email now contains many distractions...well actually only 5 but that should be enough.

Heh. I saw them start popping up on my smartphone, but was wise enough not to open them there :)

You sure you want what we talked about, and not a CAE? I already have the you-know-what ribs cut out on paper.

Worst case for Kotori, I let him drive Othar in battle!

No, I am firm on the one discussed. I have two CAE hulls that need work as it is. Perhaps a Lil' Gnies to go with Scharnie. And the HMS Achilles needs her new sub decking.

Which ribs do you have done?

Um, all of them. cut out on paper, to be glued down on MDF to use as patterns.

BTW, what scale are the Frau Blucher plans in?

Pommie ribs then. bene. Frau Blucher should be 1:100. Not sure on Makarov as it is from two sources, Louisiana 1:96 (check that may be off) and the rest are 1:100.

EDIT: Probably should have said whose not which.

Der Zee-Monster, Z-25, is almost all prepped. Does anyone have a couple of 1/2" long #2-56 scews? I'd prefer allen-head with washers, but anything will do at this point. I was just checking and I'm a bit short on my deck screws.

Got a LOT done on Lil Scharnie (not that I had a lot left, but resheeting FEELS like a lot of work)

    Resheeted
    Rudder completely done and tested
Replaced grease in stuffing tube, driveshaft back in, gears in, and tested (along with ESC, obviously)
Pump is in new housing, with completely overkill 100A ESC, and tested
Stern deck now has a proper hold-down to be more water-tight

All that's left is reinstalling the stern gun (which was tested today), which got removed for other work to be done in that area.
That and putting on the waterline and ballasting.

Gettin' close to GAME DAY, BABY, GAME DAY!!!

Got to be ready to go! As it is still dark here, though, a number of paper thingies are being glued to plywood. Speaking of plywood, Brian K reviewed the wood from Rockler and pronounced himself happy with the quality. He also said he'd pay me to use it to put a subdeck and deck in his daughter's new cruiser. Kaitlan Koehler will be joining the Statesboro battle squadron in the fall with HMAS Australia. So I have some after-Nats work to do :) AFTER NATS!

Now she will have to learn the correct accent to use when piloting her Battlecruiser. :)

Ah, Australia the Kent-class cruiser... sadly, was not interested in WWI. An otherwaise respectable young lady. Just as well, the battlecruiser would look bad in pink.
