I agree, less to pack is better, most people hang out at the camp until sleep time anyway and then go back to the hotel. I will be getting rates and everything together soon, after regionals at least but I have a lot to organize. When it all happens, I will have more info on what we are doing.
    I'll keep you posted...

Once Iceman has the rates bb26 we should consider about the 3 of us sharing the larger room.

So far preparitons are still moving along. Ship is nearly ready, I nearly have my spare tool boxes stocked up, tool box is cleaned out and all I need is in . I did have to exchange one of my CO2 bottles to get a new one. It had expired.

Hopefully will get info on Motels in the area. I may have to sell some stuff to get extra cash for the trip.

That was an expensive wash. Your wife could have had a new machine for the price of that wash or at least a good surprise.

    Good to hear Paul.
About the accomodations Paul are we going to book them in advance or just wait till we get there? I think we should make our reservations asap. What is the name of this place?

Update: Well were less than 30 days to Nats and this is what is left to do.

Get summer tires on the car. Get the car tuned up and oiled. Get the Car interior clean up.
Make a foam board platform to straddle hull and place superstructure on top. The superstructure can't sit on the hull as per norm because part of it is under the ridge that supports the back seats. I need the space on the left and right side for the equipment and stuff.

Get my electronic equipment registered and labeled

    Get a hair cut.

Get my CDN cash converted to U.S currency.

    Get BBs

Get spare sheets of balsa prepped with silkspan. For those nights I need to resheet the entire hull after the Allies are done using it for target practice.

    That's it .

16 DAYS 15 SLEEPS . Most of my gear is packed up. Car will be prepped starting Friday and again Monday. The last thing I will do is clean the car before loading it up.
Other than that I need BBS. None of the Walmarts here have any stock.

On a personal note need a haircut and some new clothes. Everything else is done. The Motor mount issue is resolved and tested. Just need to make sure I have enough SD cards and small batteries for the Go Pro camera.

Make sure you have plenty of spare parts, motors, servos, wire, switches, electrical connectors, and anything else.
There is nothing worse than not having parts to fix what failed. Most other captains bring plenty of spares and will
share, but that will cost you many "beers",
