Wondering what upgrades everyone else has done to their printers to keep them in top shape with minimal fuss. i have done the PEI sheetand enclosure and on 9/19 when they ship https://www.seemecnc.com/collection...roducts/he280-hotend-with-accelerometer-probe i might finally have a printer with more up time and not having a 6 hour adjustment every time someone bumps it or every 20 prints.
not sure I do anything to really keep it in top shape, but i've certain done some upgrades and rebuilds. Most are very specific to my printer though. More generally, I've switched to a spider coupler to drive the Z-axis rather than one of the springier flex couplers, switched to a TR-8 rather than the original m5 threaded rod fo the z-axis, slapped a sheet of PEI down on the bed, and installed an e3d v6 hotend.
