I may have to ask for a nice structure for my Bismarck.... best work of seen to date on any ships up here. Love it! Phenom. Even love the ARCC mascot getting in there. Good work Captain!

The PE and others of the VU class had green paint below the waterline.

I did find this purplish pinkish waterline which I was tempted to put on but for now I had the black pinstripe available and so I applied it. The green was on these ships. I like it..it's different.

Sea trials were kaboshed yesterday due to "SNOW" wet snow and rain mixed in..&*&&^%*)*&%k !! AHEM...Anyway least now I can install the cannons, test fire them from the bench and finish the ship topside.

I reworked the rudder linkages and replaced a rudder arm that had a stripped thread. The engines purr and the servo firing cams work great.

Sooo close.. I can just taste it.

    Curt

The turrets have no dummy barrels. That was probably drilled for the cannons

I thought all turrets must have the correct number of barrels dummy and working.

CHRIS if I have all barrells workign I would have 12 BB CANNONS. I haven't had the chance to drill out the holes for the dummy turrets yet. The center holes were drilled out to fit over the BB Cannons when the model conducted it's first sea trials at Shubie back in June of O6. The turrets will be outfitted with it's full compliment of barrels.

No problem Chris. Don't try to read emotion into the email. That's where fires start.I a emailing between calls here right now so my emails may be blunt unitentionally.

Point to Note. On why not arming all barrells. VU is a good example of how out of hand it can become. Imagine that littleship with 12 BB Cannons going up against a Yamato with only 9 bb cannons...OUCH!!

    CHEERS.
