Yup. Once I get that B turret sidemount working. Going to try another coil Paul. Problaby one of my own. If I have to replace it do you want to buy it from me? It's going to be one of my Tennessee Cannons.

No problem. I will buy it from you. I may be able to replace a cannon for you. I will just check to see what I got in cannons.

Hope to get it out again for more tests tomorrow.

I will check the cannons. What's the issue with the current one? Is it just the down angle?

Not just the down angle. The breech is crap..very very old style. The mag is not exactly great either for feeding the bbs. I think this cannon was in the stern of Southy.

Anyway I am currently up to my eyes in cannon parts at this moment. I am installing a "new" cannon into B TURRET.

Ok guys. Got out for a 2ND SEA TRIAL with the PE. PE was accompanied by ROMA who also was conducting a speed trial today and YAMATO conducting her first cruise since Last October. Also in attendance a PROBOAT AIRBOAT and a PROBOAT 40in PT109.

This time I conducted a speed test of over a 50 ft course. PE ran the course in 12 seconds...or over a 100ft 24 seconds. Yep the little ship is hell bent on chasing 24 second Allie ships..WATCH OUT MISSOURI..lol.

The model has to have 4 seconds taken off her speed. It's supposed to be a 28 second ship. The props on her now are only 1 inch 3 blade 25 pitch. I need either smaller props with 2 or even 3 blade but very small blades, not the broad blades that are on her now to get it down to speed. The model is at her Combat weight. Full load. The motors are small 380s on direct drive.

Other than that the guns were tested again. B cannon still got stuck. The other 2 fired well. The Pump worked well. This thing does dougnuts on a dime! Maybe at reduced speed it won't be so extradordinay Lol.

Anyway here are pics and ...VIDEO!...Yes Video...enjoy.

VU preparing for her speed test..

Shot of the interior aft section pump..hmm why didn't the pump work?...

Time to take the pump out and see what's up...

AHA! There's the culprit... a BB! Jammed in the outlet.Wait...that means.. darn I forgot to put the pump screen on!DOH!

INTERIOR SHOT...somebody wanted an interior shot.. I forget the name..sorry.

The pump should be able to keep the piglet afloat for a good amount of time.
