Once the dummy barreles are installed I will install the masts. Going to build the yard arms on them. May use the method I used on ROMA. That worked really well and kept it clean and easy. After that the Kingposts for the cranes and... here we go again...

Ahhh the slaughter of the Bis. Maybe some Pepto should be ordered for the captains of those ships the PE sends to the bottom. They will have the trots after seeing how well this class 4 does

Hey Paul I got to get a very long drill bit to drill through the Bridge platform straigt through the other platforms to the base. Will get the masts in tomorrow. My day off and the weather sucks so that means more boat time..till my nephew arrives and I give him his birthday present which will kill the remainder of my free time..lol. oh What's an Uncle to do.

I managed to get the holes drilled for the masts. Now just to build the masts. I will do that tomorrow afternoon depending on how I feel after Chemo. I am taking Friday off so I hope to get the rest of the work done on PE. Down the Home Stretch as they say..

More progress on the PE today. I completed the forward mast with yardarms. The rear mast is in place and just need it's yardarms made and installed. They are tall masts! Looks good though it's starting to look like a ship. I'll have pics sometime the weekend once I get more progress made. After the masts the funnels get worked on. Then come the cranes...yup got to have cranes. Then the lifeboats. Wittle down from thier to the deck stuff and the rest is coming. Looking gooood.

Well didn't get anytime to get the yardarms made for the rear mast. However PE was out today for more trials. Ship ran flawlessly and the B cannon turret worked well today. In fact all the guns worked very well. My GF was operating PE and I menanced it with Yamato but to my surprise she used the B cannon to side mount Yamato and finished up by using the Rambow to bludgen a large hole below the waterline on the stbd side and a couple of belows and 1 above the waterline on the port side. Good thing Yamato's pump was working as it took on a lot of water but was in no danger of sinking. I scored 1 waterline hit and 2 dents on a casemate. Like I said before this ship is dangerous and hard find a soft spot to hit. The GF tested all the cannons and they all fired well. There were large waves out on the pond today generated by several Jet skis in the area. PE showed it can ship a lot of water and still remain stable and seaworthy as a lot of water was evacuated with no problem. The Masts looked good and so did having all the barrels on the turrets. The Masts did not affect the model's stability. Another successuful run. Now to patch Yamato.

Ahhh the PE drew first blood of it's career. Well It won't be the first holes it puts on the Yamato :)

I got pics to post. GF is getting me the rest on CD so I can post here. She got video too of Roma sailing with the new props.

Yeah the GF should get a ship. She's deadly with this ship.

Paul that was just a teaser. The PE was toying with Yamato.
