Ok.Update. Good progress this weekend. The electrical system of the motors and bilge pump are done and installed in the hull. The pneumatics are done. The servo cams are done. Tidy up in the hull including securing wires done. All servos were tested and adjusted for trim done.Mounting for throttle servo and switches done.Motors were tested and passed wonderfully. Nice and smooth. Throttle switch via servo operation tests passed. Hoses and valves were checked for leaks and passed, no leaks. Each poppet valve fired each line and passed. Pump switch activation and pump polarity, passed.

New hatches completed. Just need to fill in some gap areas and mark out the forward and rear hatch for barbette installation. After that the cannons will be mounted. Test firing will commmence. Once completed the deck will be painted.Hull work will commence as well. This ship should be completed by Easter if not earlier with luck.

Pics will be posted again this week as to the progress up to this point. Warning if you are Claustophobic then don't stare into the hull for any length of time..lol. If you thought the last pics showed little space ..just wait.I hope to be back at again tomorrow or thursday.

Paul do you want the PE painted up like a CADBURY EASTER EGG?? CLUCKS LIKE A CHICKEN RABBIT.

As tempting as that would be I don't think I would ever live it down. Go with the standard colors

Paulb there are at least 8 large search lights on the PE. If you want search lights plan to order them and I will install them. The crew has arrived for the PE. They just need a superstructure to go to.

Milestone passed. [:D] All work below main deck finished. Pneumatic and electrical systems functional.

Position of aft and forward cannons.

Space below deck for both rear cannons is about the size of my fist. Spiral mags for here.

Forward compartment is very cluttered, so a straight magazine will be used.

Forward hold. Bottle and regulator somewhere under there.

Engine/pump room. Automotive connector (upper left corner) connects motors to electrical system.

Throttle switches and servo are attached to the underside of the deck. Wiring methods are the same as the Roma.

Next up - armaments and superstructure.

It's dusty in the hull right now but that will be cleaned up tomorrow. Barbettes are going on tomorrow and then cannon installation. Deck will be painted afterward. The final home stretch for this ship. Looking good for Easter bb26. Great on the lights looking forward to installing them. Oh the crew has arrived. Did I already mention that?
