as of 12/30, no more paper plans from Morskie. I had an email exchange with them recently, and they said they were encountering an absurd amount of trouble from the Polish Postal Service. Their postal workers are not under the same obligations with regard to rain, snow, sleet, hail, etc. and just mailing a simple domestic letter can take weeks.

So...... glad I got my copies before this, and that they sent me a digital backup.

 

Maybe true, but I know myself and others have had issues just getting a PDF from him. Would take weeks and multiple emails...

 

weird, he was super prompt with me on the PDF front.

 

If I remember correctly this is not the first time there's been a notice that paper plans would be discontinued. I'm reasonably sure that was said ~2 years ago.

I just got an email notice that pdf plans would be discontinued on Feb. 7, 2019, so there's a 30% off sale. The link shows this sale includes all of the PM pdf plans in all scales. If they're no longer selling paper plans, books, or pdf plans what will they be selling instead?

I wonder if this is a ploy to increase sales.

 

Sounds like I need to check my email. It might be a ploy, but we'll see.

I think it's a ploy to get more sales. I don't think he has a full grasp of English either,so it wouldn't surprise me if he hasn't really understood what he has said.

 

The email arrived today at 3:45 AM Atlantic Standard Time.

 

Yeah I guess I'm not on the mailing list. not worried at all--I have my Idaho plans in my living room waiting for the build start at the end of January

 

So it's sounds like a crap shoot whether he actually sends the pdf.

Meh, he sent me my PDFs pretty darn quick. the paper one, he took nearly three months.

 

Both times I ordered paper plans it took 9-10 weeks to receive them. With the Java plans this summer PM placed the blame on Canada Post allegedly handling registered mail very slowly.

That was complete BS. Canada has an excellent postal service, gets registered mail across the country in 2-3 days, and the PM plans were not 'registered'. They didn't require a signature and were left in the mailbox.

 

same here. my plans came in the regular post. he told me that the issue was on the Polish side of the equation

 

I ordered a set of PDF plans last night at 8:45pm, received them at 9:15am this morning (12.5hrs delivery time).

 

My pdf came next day

 

No question that he's quick to send the pdfs.

 

Got another email from PM today saying sale of pdf plans ends on Feb. 7 With paper and pdf plans gone I have no idea what products will be left.

 

Id put my $0.02 on it being a ploy to increase sales.

 

He responded back on facebook that it was ending just for the current plans. So yes, just a marketing trick
