Simple question. Looking for quick acceleration and battery efficiency. 3 or 4 blades and shallow or steep angle?

They don't go hand in hand. To get one you generally have to give up the other. 4 are better than 3, shallow requires more RPM, steep less RPM more torque (brushless better for steep). Get to a build in your area and bring a camera and note book.

Prop Shop in the UK makes excellent props. I like the kort nozzle style. Others like the steam scale. Brass props are better as the blades don't fall off.

Brass props typically are soldered to a hub and will fail when you crunch them on a rock (one blade at a time). Bronze cast props from UK prop shop are pricey but will hold up to extreme abuse.

One set of Prop Shop Props is the same cost as two soldered prop sets. You need to have two sets so when the blades fall off you have a back up.

Has anyone thought about the kort prop nozzles?

Kort props are OK but you can't use the nozzel in IRCWCC.

What prop size do I need for a NC?

On my NC I use 1.7 korts. They are as close to 1.75" as they have. If you are getting the soldered props 1.75". It's pretty standard for any ship over 25lbs to go 1.75".
