Yes, it will be ready for the brew, along with another surprise to be revealed soon. As this is basically a larger version of the Duke, I have a good idea on what I want to do.
I am having issues with props, the ones we got from England are 1.5 and not 1.75 (these are korts), will there be that much of an issue?

What size prop and how many blades do you want?

I have a kort from the prop shop, I will post pictures on what I had and what I got, maybe a screw up on their part?
At lunch I stopped by a wood working shop and found this little gem, the price is fantastic and I will report back on how well it works. Check your local place, basically I pay $9.99 for 2 oz.

No worries. If this is just regular CA, then I will be getting more bottles. If this is something for the wood guys that has some special formulation (doubt it),then no harm no foul.
I have off some time this holiday, I hope to have her finished by January and make if down in Feb.

You don't want 1.5" props on the QE. Hudson tried that size on a Kogo and does not get the same start/stop as my Kongo with 1.75" props.
Tyler's Derf uses 1.5" and does fine. I think that around 25lbs is where you need to move up in prop size.

Brian and I have 1.75" props on ours. They stick a little below the hull but not enormously so.

Ribs are drilled and clamped. Not worried about the height as that will need to be cut down for the sub-deck.

Well, looks like I need new props. I used the same number with prop shop, can anyone help me find the correct order number?
In this shot, you can see the prop on the duke has a lot more blade area.

Look at the curvature of the blade, it has a lot more blade area.

This is what they sent. Could there be another type of Kort prop they got it confused with?

From the Loyalhannah site for prop shops, the one on the right looks like the one I got. But I dont see that style on the prop - shop page?

Look at the sweep and surface area of the blade and compare it to the one above

Not a hint of fire damage nor patina of smoke on it. I strongly question whether the prop in question has even been near Lou's ship.

Lou its actually 2 inches not 20 degrees.

Reference numbers for this range give the diameter in inches followed by the pitch in inches. Eg. 1920 is 1.9" dia. x 2" pitch.

Now does 2 inches of pitch mean the same as 20 degrees? I wish I knew.. I can tell you that on my props.. 2 inches of pitch is a lot.

The 2" on the prop states the theorectical distance the prop would travel in a full revolution.

Notching the subdeck for a strong frame, this is the aft portion of the ship.
