A bunch of us use the Discord application for chatting about boats, sharing pics about boats, etc. So I made a dedicated discord channel for faster-than-forum communication.

Discord is a free app you can download on your phone, to your PC, or use in an internet browser. It supports text chats, voice, screen sharing, live streaming, etc.

Daww, don't worry. It's just yet another 'social media' avenue to dilute everyone's time and attention and ensure that any useful information is thoroughly diluted and dispersed.

I miss the days of mailed cassette tapes and sketches on paper explaining what you're trying to explain. Like the instant response of social media, but it dehumanizes the response and becomes addictive time wise.

Had a fun little voice chat session last night with a couple of captains. Did a little fusion 360 tutorial/help session.

Hopefully we can get more of that kind of stuff going on.

That can totally be arranged. In person ones greatly preferred though.

I was hoping for a virtual battle day. I'm tired of 100+ degree heat and lugging around 40 lb boats... :p
