That's a steal. I've seen those go for $250 a box before. You did good...

Awesome, he wanted 350. for the set I talked him down to 200. for the set. I plan to scan and make a digital set and make copies if people wanted. I imagine the Copyright is surely out on them?

Not sure on the copyright but these plan sets are well over 40 years old

Be advised, though, that a lot of copy shops won't let you scan them, especially not places like Kinkos. My local Kinkos requires documentation from the copyright holder that you have permission to make scans or copies That's one reason why Profile Morskie puts your name on plans you buy from them (but not the only reason) .

I am happy and sad at the same time if that makes sense... Side profiles, top down views of the deck but no hull body lines. How do I use this? I have a high I.Q. but that dosent make up for experience that allot of you guys and girls have that I do not lol.

I might have to buy a large snan and copy machine or find someone that has one.

Ships by box set 1-5, someone that owned the sets before me must of had them translated and written on the outside of each box. They varey in detale from one another some have cross sections while others have detale above the waterline only.

The original translation was not as specific as I liked, So I used a translation software and a Japanese acquaintance to check with. As well as cataloging if all drawings wear present.

If you tried and couldn't build the hull the way you wanted, why not asking someone to help you? Or make the hull for you. I have a 3D printing shop if you want I can help building the basic shapes. I have some years of experience in building hulls, even though they are for static models.
