This is a partial kit, there are build threads on this site showing construction I believe. A few captains have successfully started out with these kits http://www.vac-u-boat.com/rc_warship_combat_products_page.htm As others have mentioned, you should get in touch with the closest group and try to see some ships in person, and decide what to buy after that point.
