I'm currently building a 1/72 scale V99 German Torpedo Destroyer (SMS B-11 & B112) and am looking for an Electronic Speed Controller for two Bueller 6-12 volt brushed motors. ANY SUGGESTIONS!!
I really like the RobotPower Wasp for models with low amp draw. It's a no frills design, but it works reliably. Scroll to the bottom of the page to purchase. http://www.robotpower.com/products/wasp_info.html
Yep, the Wasp is what you want. It spins the turret on my combat tank without a hitch and runs my Mogador around the pond just fine.
I use this on my 1/144 HMS Prince of Wales: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/..._X_Car_45A_Brushed_Car_ESC_AR_Warehouse_.html Hard to beat for under $11, just needs to be potted in epoxy to waterproof.
Do these HK brushed controllers have 100% forward and reverse? Another issue I can think of with these auto-calibrate ESC's is that they blow your end point adjustments after a power on.
