Restoration of the South Dakota

    I got this hull after at least 2 others had had it without either of them getting it close to sea worthy, this is my first ship but I plan on making it a beauty (eventually) this year Im just focusing on running gear and rigging next winter I will remove the deck and superstructure to clean it up.

    sorry about the first picture ... but the rest should be re sized properly
    first picture we are just laying out everything so we can get an idea of what we need to do. the second is showing the resheeting I did on one side as it had been wreaked ... prob in storage... as well as somecosmetic work on the super structure and deck (horray for bondo and 2 coats of primer
