Hello all! Been thinking of this hobby on and off for a few years and im ready to build a boat with guns on it! I've built afew rc boats in the past, but nothing quite like this.. Looks like I'm pretty fortunate, strike models is just a short drive away and there's battles in Snohomish & Cle Elum? Now for a first boat.. Hmm..
Man I'd Love to, my wife's birthdays coming up, don't know if I can swing it.. I suppose I could ask really nicely?? lol
Unfortunately I won't be able to make the battle.. But i did, however, purchase my first ship! I've got a SMS Viribus Unitis coming in the mail, along with a bunch of spare parts. Bought them off a member on this forum who's getting out of the hobby. Was too good of a deal to pass up =) When's the next battle? Are they typically held on Sundays??
Gosh its been awhile.. Not quite..? Ive actually picked up a second hull a USS Florida from a vender on this forum lol The wife and i plan on building them simultaneously. So far we've layed out frames, got some shafts and rudder parts, motors etc. Im planning on posting a build thread once some more progress is made..
