I first encountered this hobby almost a decade ago at a Maker Faire. I found this yesterday, and now that I have both time, space, and money to work with, I’m stoked to begin a build one day sooner rather than later. Thank you for such excellent instruction. It’s got me itching to begin, which I’ll need to keep squashed for another few months at least. I was kind of thinking a gunless boat for my first build. Maybe something that would have served in the merchant marine. Thought briefly about Titanic, but to scale it would be 6 feet long and I don’t know that I can transport that regularly. Alas. I shall just keep dreaming a bit longer.
