On my previous ships the decks are secured to the subdeck with ordinary screws. On my current build I'd like something a little more scale looking. Quicker access would be nice too. What are everybody's favorite methods of securing their decks?

I like screws, but also like a tab on one end and a few servo arms used as hold downs that are screwed to the outer deck and can be easily rotated for quick access.

Small rare earth magnets are relatively light, secure the deck well, and are pretty easy to pull the deck off when it's time to get inside.

For a kinda scale look, I use brass knurled nuts commonly round in the hardware section of most home improvement stores. Small brass screws protrude up through the subdeck and deck for the thunbscrews. Although it takes longer to put on and take off, the deck will never come off by accident. Heh. It also gives a really good deck seal.
