What, in your opinion, is the most beautiful warship? My favorite is Prinz Eugen, a ship so beautiful that if she were a woman she would be on the front cover of Cosmopolitan. What's yours?
I think I lean toward the clipper bow DKM Scharnhorst for beauty. However, the post refit Tennessee I think is one of the toughest looking ships. It is squat, laden with guns, and bristling with AA. It is proportionaly nice and relatively symmetrical. It doesn’t have to be long and lean to be pretty. And... It just plain looks like it’s about to slug someone right in the nose and ask their buddy if they wanna go too.
I think it is very subjective. To me yes the lines of a ship are aesthetically pleasing, however what makes a given ship trip my trigger is it's performance and history. Yes looking neat is part of it, but performance is EVRYTHING! I have absolutely LOVED some REALLY ugly cars because of how they ran and drove. But I am weird, Looks aren't everything to an ugly dude. HAHA! I used to be fat, NOW, I am just ugly! HAHAHAHAHA!
Nope Fake news, come to a event, talk to the battlers, eat a hot dog, eat a burger, talk more to battlers. Go home build your boat. THEN POST ON THIS LIST. That is the format you may want to adhere to.
I was never really a fan of the rebuilt standards, but you have a very good point about the Tennessee. While Dunkerque has a clear right end and wrong end. Tennessee can mess you up either way.
