Since the loss of Yahoo Groups, I have been more out the loop (or ‘loopy’) than previously. I think Discord would be a good platform. I am not great at it, but the price is right (free) and it is remarkably versatile. Do we have an email list of our members so I may be able to send links? (I don’t want to post it on an open forum…not sure if that may attract annoying bots.) meanwhile, I had a great time with you guys at Denmark Straits. -Steve
Perhaps to expound upon Discord a bit further: It combines (from my weak knowledge) Slack's message service with some Teamspeak live vocal capabilities. It is an app on phone or windows (etc)
I use Discord all the time. It is a great platform. As it is battling season the form is kind of quiet so I suspect any discord group would take a while to grow.
