Hmmm based on the bow I’m guessing WWII era?

That... looks very Japanese. Iowa class bows have a similar sharp upward turn at the front, but they have a more bulged teardrop-shaped underwater profile. Not a Japanese heavy cruiser either, since those have a very rounded side profile. Is that an Agano-class light cruiser?

Aaand as is tradition with almost all the Profile Morskie plans I have ever used, sections, side and top views are not self consistent in the stern. Nothing major (academid differences in combat but if not built to combat, will show clearly in hull curvature) but it will take some time to make them consistent enough to make a good hull..... I plan to make this hull model a lot more detailed than I typically do, which was one reason to work with a DD. much lower number of things that need modeling...

I poked through the Japanese DDs for a bit, but most of them have a similarly-curved bow to their heavy cruisers. That sharp delineation between cutwater and keel would have given it away.... if I'd clicked through more than three DD classes before stopping.

and now for the royal pain of a stern... I expect lots of redrawing of sections here. the bow and mid went rather well so far. some mild tweaking near the step in the deck, but I can probably do that as a post main hull surface modification...

Beautiful! I'm assuming this'll be printable in sections, as I've seen done elsewhere on here? What program are you using?
